CollegeHumor is seeking an ambitious, well-rounded Interactive Web Graphics Designer. You need to think like a user, be passionate about design and excited to create interfaces and iterate through features that impact millions of people. You will work with our small talented team of designers and developers on a number of large high profile websites which include: CollegeHumor, TodaysBIGthing, SportsPickle, Dorkly as well as contribute to a number of internal tools and services. Collectively our sites reach over 15 million users every month.

The Web Designer will contribute to implementing designs for new site features according to existing design standards and styles. This role will also be creating new designs to improve general look and feel, converting layouts and wireframes into Photoshop mockups and helping to define user interaction and user experience through design.

Key Qualifications:

2-5 years experience creating web layouts, and web graphics.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator).
Strong sense of design, layout, typography and branding for the web.
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, web technologies and their strengths/limitations.
Ability to interact clearly and confidently with a team.
Ability to work independently, manage and set priorities.
Detail oriented and well organized.
Thrive in a deadline driven environment.
Comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced, creative and flexible environment.
Excited to iterate through design concepts to yield the best graphic solution.
Ability to work with pre-existing assets to match look and feel for new features, as well as create new assets and design concepts from scratch.
