A while back, Jake Hurwitz, Vincent Peone and I sat around my kitchen table drinking whiskey and chatted about our high school bands. We were convinced our bands were the best, and immediately made this blog: MyBandRuled.tumblr.com. Several months later we got our first submission from our friend and coworker Jake Oliver.

I pranked Streeter again.

It happened a few weeks ago, and I’ve kept the whole thing under wraps because that video (Prank War 8) is being premiered TOMORROW (Thursday) night on Jimmy Kimmel Live at 12:05am/11:05pm central on ABC — and Streeter and I will be on the show to talk about it.

It’s not only my first prank on Streeter in over two years, it’s the first CollegeHumor video EVER to premiere on network television. You will also be able to watch it (in its entirety) on…

It’s true, I’m afraid. I know this one was better than the Yankee Prankee but I still don’t think it tops my half court shot one. It’s all worth it if I get to meet Danny Devito, though. Anyway, tune in if you want to see me be embarrassed on TV.

Ever wondered how the internet works? Well you can find out by attending my intro to web development class.

The class is going to cover the essential information to understand basic principles of front end web development. It will give you the required knowledge to tinker with your blogs and understand new concepts you’d like to learn on your own. Most of the skills build on eachother, so it’s pretty important to come to each class in order to keep up.

* Fluency in PHP 5 and the LAMP stack
* MySQL with performance tuning and scalability
* Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming
* Hands on experience with MVC Frameworks

* Thorough understanding of HTML, Javascript, CSS and XML
